Recipes   :   Chutneys   :   Coconut Chutney
Ingredients
      
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Cilantro - 1/2 bunch
Green chili - 1
Lemon - 1/2
Asafoetida - pinch
Urud dhal - 1 tsp.
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Salt
Oil - 1 tsp.
                
Method
          
Grind coconut, cilantro, green chilies, asafoetida and salt. Heat a little oil and add mustard seeds and urud dhal. When mustard seeds pop, add it to the ground paste. Squeeze the lemon juice just before serving and mix.
